This is an area I’ve studied for nearly 20 years, and I am exhausted by every strange behavior, bad night, unexplained event, or dramatic story suddenly becoming: “POSSESSION.” No. That’s not how this works. We’re going into the history, theology, psychology, documented cases, misconceptions, and what actually has to happen before anyone credible should even begin using that word. And yes, there’s a little extra motivation behind this episode. Some things have recently been said about me that I strongly dispute, including claims involving a podcast appearance that, to my knowledge, never happened. I’m not going to conduct that dispute through threats or a Facebook war. If something crosses into actionable defamation, I’ll deal with it through the appropriate channels. But the subject matter?
